I can highly recommend pursuing an international work experience placement with the assistance of RIIERP. I was given a life changing opportunity to join the Employment Marketing team with aircraft manufacturer, Airbus, in Toulouse, France.

Airbus is the largest Aircraft manufacturer in the world and gaining a placement in such a global company has helped me grow as a person. Converting the theoretical knowledge from my international business studies into practical tangible results, I believe I have gained a priceless set of skills by partaking in an international internship.

Completing work experience at a company that makes decisions and achieves goals that have a direct impact on the whole world is an experience I would never have achieved without traveling to a foreign destination. To be able to work, interact, travel and live in a completely different culture brings challenges that have undoubtedly improved me as a person and has left me with many fond memories and friendships that will remain with me for the rest of my life. Many opportunities have presented themselves while living and working in such a dynamic region, opening doors for me personally and professionally.

I believe this has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I would not merely suggest that others take up similar opportunities, but would insist they do their best to gain such a fantastic chance to live and work abroad. It is a decision that will reap rewards for the rest of your life.
