Vision and goals
In accordance with RMIT’s vision of providing its students and graduates with a global passport, RIIERP offers participating students with work-integrated learning opportunities in multi-national team environments of global corporations.
RIIERP’s postgraduate and collaborative research components highlight RMIT’s commitment to maintaining its position as one of Australia’s top research universities, internationally known for an applied focus and excellence in research.
RIIERP’s goals:
- To provide students with the opportunity to carry out their industry work experience at overseas companies and by so doing get them exposed to work ethics in a different cultural environment
- To facilitate the production of graduates who are worldly in their outlook and hence globally employable
- To provide students/graduates with a wide range of infrastructure for the development of their vocational and research skills
- To provide RMIT the means of assessing the quality of its students/graduates from a global perspective
- To promote RMIT’s interaction with institutions/companies who have best practice in the relevant areas of expertise
