Global Industry Advisory Board
As RIIERP expanded, a board of industry leaders known as the RIIERP Global Industry Advisory Board (GIAB) was established in 2002 to assist with the program. Board members are senior executives from global multinational companies and advise the university on global industry needs, help shape the program, impart business expertise, and increase industry placements and further development of the program. Members of the Global Industry Advisory Board include representatives from: Siemens Limited, Battenfeld Australia, Coles Myer, Volkswagen Group Australia, ABB Australia, Tyco International, Goethe-Institute Inter Nations, Boeing, GKN Aerospace Engineering, Robert Bosch Australia, BASF Australia Ltd and RMIT University.
