Introducing RMIT’s Security staff

Security Shift Supervisors

Meet RMIT University’s team of experienced Security Shift Supervisors. They are easily identifiable by their distinctive uniforms comprised of black khaki pants, grey shirts and black jumpers with the RMIT logo on the right pocket.

More Security Shift Supervisors’ profiles will shortly be online.

If you have any concerns about your own or other people’s safety, don’t hesitate to approach them if you see them on campus. Alternatively, you can contact them on 9925 2051.

Security tip

Always carry your valuables as close to your person as possible. Conceal items such as cash, jewellery and your passport. There is no need to display these items in public.

Familiarise yourself with the surveillance cameras around the campus and save the Security Control Room phone numbers in your mobile phone.

If you’re based on the City campus, familiarise yourself with the location of the Security Control Room on Franklin Street, if you are unable to use a phone in the event of an emergency.

Always report abnormal or suspicious behaviour to Security. It is ok to trust your “gut instinct” in a situation and we appreciate such matters being brought to our attention.
