TAFE census dates

Census dates explained

A census date is the deadline by which you must take certain actions, such as drop a class. The census date applies to each class or ‘unit of study’ you are enrolled in.

Note: Census dates cannot be extended.

Determine your census date

Each TAFE class has a different census date depending on the month in which the class started and the length of the class.

The easiest way to determine the census date for the TAFE classes you are enrolled is via Enrolment Online, or check out the Census date lists for TAFE classes.

Note:

  • If you are enrolled in ELICOS you should contact RMIT English Worldwide for information regarding census dates that apply to these classes.
  • Always determine your own census dates. Do not rely on advice from other students or friends.
