On any web page on the Internet, you can use the browser’s ‘Print’ function (select from the ‘File’ menu) which will use RMIT’s print style sheet. The page will be printed without any of the layout items that take up unnecessary space on the printed page: the masthead, site map, etc. The print version will include all images and content that are part of the page body, as well as the page footer.
You will also find a ‘Print version’ link at the bottom of each page. When you select this link you will be taken to a preview of the page that approximates how your printed page will look. You can print the page from this preview as usual.
If you want to print a page without removing the masthead, site map etc. you can take an exact visual copy of the page for printing via a paint program by using ‘Print Screen’ on your PC keyboard, or by using Command + Shift + 3 on a Mac.
